Shinsei Gardens Wins a Green Building of America Award
Shinsei Gardens, a new two-story 39-unit wood-framed affordable housing apartment complex in Alameda, California, won a Green Building of America award. Sustainable features include cool roofs and roof-mounted photovoltaics. Gale performed a building envelope peer review and waterproofing consultation during construction. The project was designed by Erick Mikiten Architecture. |

The University of North Florida Awards Gale with a Contract
The University of North Florida awarded Gale with a contract for forensic architecture and engineering plus design services for envelope remedial work at the Science & Engineering Building (Bldg. 50). The building is approximately 139,000 GSF on three floors and was built in 2003. |

Dartmouth College Dedicates Red Rolfe
Field
Red Rolfe Field is a state-of-the-art baseball facility at
Dartmouth College and includes a synthetic FieldTurf surface,
permanent seating for 650 spectators (with 405 chair-back
seats) with the ability to add more than 1,000 temporary
seats, a new scoreboard, dugouts, batting cages, bullpens, a
press box, and landscaping. Gale served as the design consultant on this impressive
project. |
