BUILDING ENVELOPE CONSULTING SERVICES
Built in 1900, Spreckels Temple of Music serves as a band shell. It has Colusa sandstone-clad exterior walls, built-up roof systems over the stage area, and two attached colonnades. The building was suffering from deterioration of the exterior stone cladding due to leakage. Gale determined the causes of staining and leakage, and provided a condition assessment of the roofs and exterior walls. We also provided schematic remediation design for cost estimation and remediation design for bidding (future work if project funding is available).
