ATHLETIC CAMPUS MASTER PLAN

Springfield College required a complete master plan of the entire athletic facility (NCAA baseball and softball fields, soccer and multi-use practice fields, track and field venues, tennis courts, and an existing synthetic football stadium). They were particularly interested in enhancing viewscapes into the athletic complex to encourage prospective students, parents, and donors. Gale designed, permitted, and administered construction of Phase I and Phase II of the master plan implementation. The initiating projects consisted of two multi-use synthetic turf fields, spectator seating, press box, and ticketing structures, and expanded parking and pedestrian gateways.
