Oliver Hill Courts
Building and Juvenile Detention Center

BUILDING ENVELOPE/HVAC EVALUATION AND DESIGN

Completed in 1996, the Oliver Hill Courts Building and Juvenile Detention Center experienced window/wall related leaks shortly after construction completion. There were also roof-related leaks, ventilation issues, site drainage issues, and problems with indoor air quality (including the presence of mold and fungus). Gale investigated and evaluated the building to determine the sources of the moisture intrusion, HVAC system irregularities, and interior air quality issues. We prepared an in-depth report detailing findings and recommendations for repairs. We also prepared construction documents to implement our recommended repairs.
