EXTERIOR MARBLE CLADDING RESTORATION

Richter Cornbrooks Gribble Architects retained Gale to serve as the building envelope consultant during the exterior marble cladding restoration project at the Kennedy Center. The facility was due for an overall maintenance program to address areas of deterioration of the marble cladding, including staining and broken panels. Using a 60-ft boom lift, Gale surveyed and assessed the marble conditions. We provided a report documenting our findings and recommendations for repairs. Gale then prepared technical specifications and details for the chosen remedial measures to be incorporated into the public bid package. We also provided consultation during the repairs.
