BUILDING ENVELOPE EVALUATION
Despite a major renovation in 1996 and numerous repairs, the building was experiencing active leaks through the building envelope. Gale investigated and evaluated the brick masonry walls, windows, and roof systems. We used an 85-ft boom lift to inspect the facade and perform both isolated leak and destructive testing. Gale then composed an in-depth report of our findings and prioritized recommendations for remediation, including repairs to masonry through-wall flashing; sealant replacement; structural repairs to concrete columns, slabs, and sills; and repairs to the roof system. Our report also recommended future and long-term repairs/replacements.
