EVALUATION AND DESIGN OF MASONRY REPAIRS

The Brighton Marine Health Center was experiencing numerous interior leaks into office spaces and conference centers. Gale tested the masonry walls to determine the causes of deterioration and moisture infiltration. We prepared evaluation reports on the existing masonry walls, including leak testing of masonry walls, destructive testing of the masonry walls, repair/replacement recommendations, and cost estimates. Gale then provided construction documents for stabilization of the exterior masonry, installation of sheet metal wall cladding at all rising penthouse walls, and reconstruction of a displaced masonry parapet wall.
