BUILDING ENVELOPE EVALUATION AND DESIGN

Building 14, a historic facility, suffered from various building envelope problems. Gale evaluated the building envelope and itemized components for recommended repair/replacement. We also restored deteriorated historic wood windows, the clock tower, and fascia components. The aged, gravel-surfaced, built-up roof systems on Buildings 60, 96, and 300e suffered from numerous interior leaks, loss of building heat, ponding water, and vegetation growth. Gale prepared comprehensive reports with defect locations, repair/replacement recommendations, and cost estimates. We also provided construction phase services and administration.
