ENGINEERING/SITE PLANNING SERVICES

Gale completed an extensive land planning and site design for a 78-acre, 8-parcel industrial park at the former Fort Devens. We evaluated the existing Department of Public Works (DPW) and maintenance shop facilities structures for potential reuse and incorporation into the new infrastructure. Gale performed wetlands delineation and habitat assessment. Our master plan included designing the layout and grading of lots, a definitive subdivision plan, new stormwater and sewer collection systems, and streetscape renderings. We led the community outreach effort and incorporated community concerns into the project design. Gale also authored the prescribed development standards that governed the redevelopment of this portion of the former U.S. Army Base.
