TERM CONTRACT – BUILDING ENVELOPE CONSULTING SERVICES

Gale performed facade evaluations of two buildings at the University of New Hampshire: Fairchild Residence Hall and Memorial Union. At Fairchild Residence Hall, we recommended masonry renovations to reduce water infiltration; the installation of new through-wall flashings; repairs to the concrete foundations, and cracks and spalls on the cast stone window sills; and appropriate replacement of slate shingles. The Memorial Union building was experiencing chronic leaks into the school store. Gale recommended replacing through-wall flashings in one brick masonry wall and augmenting the existing through-wall flashings in another.
