ATHLETIC CAMPUS RENOVATION

Gale was engaged by Moser-Pylon Nelson Architects to assist with the site design and permitting of a major athletic campus redevelopment and expansion at the Berkshire School. The renovations included a new hockey rink, which has two ice rinks, locker rooms, spectator seating, training facilities, office and a dining area. In addition, the project including reconstructing four natural turf fields and field events for track, new access drives throughout the athletic campus, approximately 250 additional parking spaces and a new maintenance and facilities building. Gale was responsible for permitting the entire Master Plan for the campus, which involved working with the Massachusetts Environmental Protection Agency due to proximity to an endangered species habitat.
