Milk Street (Old South Building) Boston, Massachusetts
The Building
V-shaped, 12-story, 127-ft high building
with a 4-ft high parapet around the perimeter.
The exposed elevations are constructed
of brick masonry with ornate terra cotta
appurtenances and individual wood and
aluminum framed windows. Terra cotta building
ledges occur at the third, fourth, ninth
and eleventh floors as well as the roof
cornices. The ledge at the ninth floor
provides a prominent architectural feature.

Needed to comply with the City of Boston's
Facade Ordinance 9.9-12 (observe the condition
of the facade and determine if the facade
poses a threat to public safety as a result
of deterioration)
