Exterior Inspection of Building Facade
(City of Boston's Facade Ordinance 9.9-12)

One and Two International Place

The Building
  • One International Place consists of a 47-story tower with a 27-story and a 20-story annex. Two International Place consists of a 38-story tower and 13-story annex.The facades are constructed of unpolished granite panels with punched aluminum framed and fixed in-place window openings. A portion of both towers consists of an aluminum framed curtain wall system with a combination of reflective vision glass and spandrel glass.
Client’s Need
  • Needed to comply with the City of Boston's Facade Ordinance 9.9-12 (observe the condition of the facade and determine if the facade poses a threat to public safety as a result of deterioration)
Gale’s Services
  • Performed multiple drops of swing staging to evaluate the facade above pedestrian walkways
  • Determined that the facade had limited defects and was in good condition
  • Completed and submitted Exterior Wall Inspection Report to the City of Boston Inspectional Services Department
