Gale was engaged by Abbott Investments, LLC to complete the site engineering and permitting of a mixed-use facility with 36,000 square feet of retail space and 240 residential units. Additionally, 300 spaces of on-site parking are provided in three sub-grade levels. This project in downtown Quincy, adjacent to a mass transit terminal, required extensive state and local permitting. Challenging geotechnical conditions required the design of a comprehensive de-watering system and moisture proofing. The entire site design and permitting effort was completed in 12 months, significantly ahead of schedule.
